Rpg Update
So, I’ve been spending a lot of time making my RPG. I found an online RPG Maker community, which has a contest ending Nov. 1st. This gave me a lot of motivation to make a quick game. I’m about done. I’m just finishing up the last 1/5th of the adventure, and playtesting/polishing the rest. I set up a “teaser” page over at the “wiki” site the RPG maker community just started up.

*my* question is when do normal humans get to play this game? do we have to have some sort of system? can i just use my computer?

that’s the only crappy thing about RPG Maker 3 (well not the only…). To play a game on it you have to have the RPG Maker 3, and a PS2 and then the only way to send you my game (which is on a memory card), other than directly copying my save files onto another memory card and sending it, is to have a maxdrive that is compatible with PCs and PS2s to convert the saves onto a computer, and then back onto a memory card. So it’s all very difficult. There is an RPG Maker XP, and I think anyone with a computer can play the games made on that. But I got #3 on the PS2 because it is a lot more user friendly. The XP one has straight scripting in it (Ruby Scripting) and can get very advanced. I figured I’d start with the one made especially for noobs. So, tell me when you get a PS2!
