been chillin’
I’ve been enjoying RPG Maker 3 way too much. After messing around with it a bunch with some friends, I started my own serious adventure. This is where all my freetime has been going. I bought a keyboard for the ps2 so I can enter in all my dialogue quickly. I’ll update on my project again as it more fully forms.
The weekend before last, Roy, Phil, Liz and I hung around the Encinitas beach. That’s me–the one with the water bottle filled with cranberry&vodka.

And here is Phil, looking extra sexy:

Other than that, we haven’t been doing that much. Still watching a lot of Firefly (watched all the episodes 3-4 times now). Liz has been real busy with her job and trying to figure out whether she wants to stay there or not. The weather is cooling down nicely.

Check out this friggin’ turtle!

We went to the zoo today.

Of course, we made sure to get some good ass shots:

Two more days until my first entire week of vacation. Liz’s Sister, Katherine, is coming down. We don’t really have any plans yet, so I am looking forward to some serious chilling. And by serious chillin, I mean I’m gaming it up like crazy, drinking a 24-pack of beer a day, up all night, pancakes every morning, the ******** plane has crashed into the mountain. You can tell I’m excited.
First compelling reason to buy an xbox360: Settlers of Cataan is coming to the live service. You can download it for like 5 bucks and play it online. oman.
Liz brought home 43 bagels last night. That’s Fourtyfuckinthree. We got half of them stored in the freezer.

My best friend since I was seven, Dale, came back home for a few weeks
He and his fiance were in Argentina teaching ESL for a year, and just came back to the states to get married. This Thursday they will be going to Korea to do another year of ESL.
Last Thursday, his wife had her own plans, so he took the Coaster (a train) up to see me. I got off work a bit early and scheduled Friday off.
It was a great night of beer, video games and general chillin. I went to bed around midnight. Even though I had the day off, I still had to get up around 6am to drive Liz to work. Liz told me that during the night she woke up and at 4am Dale was still up playing video games. Dale was making the most of his night because he hasn’t been able to play video games in some time. His wife cannot stand them. So before they had left for Argentina, he gave away all his goods; his gamecube went to me.
Anyways, when I got back home from dropping Liz off around 7:15, I heard a lot of loud noises coming from my apartment out the open windows. Dale was already back up, playing Metroid:Prime and drinking a beer.
He was up all night, drank tons of beer (including a 22 of Stone’s infamous 10.8% Imperial Russian Stout) and was back at it after only three hours sleep.
under the covers (first post from the homeland)
u know the rice tastes good. with orange chicken!
i am home and online and gonna go get a beer instead of writing anymore.

The computer is now ordered. I ordered COX high speed coble internet as well. Computer and monitor probably will be all set up this weekend. The internet as well. Could all be ready to go this weekend! can you believe it?
I’m thinking of getting diablo2. is anyone out there down for some online multiplayer? It’s time for the dungeon crawling madness!
thats all i got.
our window to the world
check it out guys. on sale for 182.99 with free shipping! oman this is gonna be sick.
We got most of our computer parts picked out as well. Curt is just double checking the value (via reviews) and price (by comparing) before putting the order in. We should have the comp all set up within 2 weeks. Don’t be jealous.
go ahead ask me about my weekend
it was chillin.
Liz and I spent a lot of good time together, at the beach, the mall, out to breakfast early in the morning and then watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and 2 together (she bought them, not me!).
And whenever Liz was resting, I got to play Chrono Trigger.
Add to that the Bonnie Prince Billy Live “Summer in the Southeast” CD which arrived in the mail. Certain people (GREG!) you need to check this one out.
Plus I think, overall, it was just that nice comfortable feeling of finally having enough money–not having to worry about every dollar spent. With Liz working we have a good income for just the two of us living in a small apartment in the ghetto of Vista. I’m hoping we can spend a good amount of time saving up some money. finally.
routines shmoutines
every weekday, liz wakes up at 530, i wake up at 545. i am always ready a few minutes before her. she always needs like 6 kisses when i drop her off. she kisses me three times then gets out of the car then leans in and kisses three more times. then she waves to me as i drive off.
i now sleep during my lunch hour. when i first started working (a year and 4 months ago!), i read books. Then i started walking (when i went through my keeping fit phase). Now i sleep.
everyday, right before we pull into our complex, liz tells me to stop cause she will get the mail. everyday she has to tell me. as if she doesnt do it everyday. when we get home, now that we have the ps2, we usually dance to DDR for 45 minutes or so, then we take a shower together.
after this we never know quite what to do. "what do u wanna eat?" " i dunno, what'dya wanna eat?" we rarely eat the same thing, or at the same time.
on fridays we hang out with my friends. it used to be at my house like this:
(that's phil falling asleep, while im intensely playing an old skool mega man game)
now that curt got the townhouse, it will be at his for a while.
on saturdays, we do our grocery shopping. on sundays, we search for other things to do. walks. clean-up. this, my friends, is life. married life. did i mention how much work sucks?
